We utilise your site's emergency preparedness plan, provide fire training, and tutor in the facility's installed and passive systems such as the 'FIP' Fire Indicator Panel, 'EWIS' Emergency Warning Intercommunication System, Fire Safety Doors, Zones, and Spill Kits. This comprehensive training, which includes extinguisher training, assists the trained ECO - Emergency Control Organisation in effectively managing workplace emergencies in an appropriate and timely manner.

In an emergency call 000 for Police,  Fire or Ambulance

Know where you are and accurately informing the ECO or the Statutory Emergency Services such as Police, Fire + Rescue or Ambulance when you call '000" in the event of an Emergency.

We recommend that having the working knowledge and use of this technology and the GPS precise location will allow the services to get to you or your faster.

Activate your trained site Emergency Control Organisation who have the current  awareness and ability to perform their duties and communicate; to best address the imminent or actual Emergency.

ACERTAIN THE TYPE/S OF EMERGENCY

Ascertain the type and factors of the Emergency from the informed communication and situational awareness of the trained ECO personnel to best manage and further control the incident.

UNDERSTAND THE LAYOUT, EVAC POINTS AND WHERE TO FIND THE FIRST ATTACK FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT

Have in place Current Evacuation Diagrams, Emergency Plans and how to locate the tools including the Passive and Installed systems in the building to assist with the Emergency.

Fire Extinguisher and Fire Blanket use

Following the standard procedures including R.A.C.E ( Remove/Rescue - Alert/Alarm - Contain/Confine - Extinguish/Evacuate ) obtain annual manual handling, selection and operation of Fire Blankets + Fire Extinguishers using the P.A.S.S ( Pull - Aim - Squeeze - Sweep) method.

Critical Factors to consider post incident to obtain all the facts, check in on the health, wellbeing and safety of personnel and restore workplace to a functional condition is to ensure a post-incident debriefing.  These learnings will also feed into the Emergency Planning Committee review and revision of the Emergency Plan for the organisation / site.
