We work with our clients to ensure their site emergency plan is current, provide face to face consultation with key personnel to update and ensure emergency capabilities are suitable, current and compliant to their duties under Reg.43 of the WHS Act (Duty to Prepare). 

We provide documentation, planning and training to  Australian Standards

 AS3745:2010 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities  for all workplaces and AS 4083:2010 Planning for Emergencies in Healthcare facilities + NSW Health Policy - Fire Safety in HealthCare facilities 2010_024 

if appropriate industry or operation.

Courses are industry nuanced; continually reviewed and developed to meet the Australian Standard. The fire training and variety of training sessions are delivered by off duty emergency services personnel whom hold current qualifications in Training and Assessment. 

Based in Coffs Harbour and delivering onsite training across New South Wales.

  We provide the tools, scenarios, reflection to the site emergency plan, understanding and training across a range of emergencies to your Emergency Control Organisation not just fire training ! Such as; personal threat, active threat bomb threat, suspicious item, missing occupant, fire / smoke, chemical incidents / spills, medical, Internal /external emergency and many more.

We prepare and empower your selected 'ECO'- Emergency Control Organisation personnel to act as  Chief Warden, including Deputy Chief Warden , Communications Officer, Zone / Floor/ Area Warden through to Warden. We reflect on your emergency plan and encompass your policy & workplace procedures. 

Its not always fire therefor it should not just be about fire training.

We utilise your site emergency plan, provide fire training, identify and tutor in the facility installed and passive systems such as the 'FIP' Fire Indicator Panel,   'EWIS' Emergency Warning Intercommunication System,  Fire Safety Doors, Zones,  including Spill Kits to assist the trained ECO - Emergency Control Organisation to manage the incident in a appropriate and timely manner.

HOW CAN I BEST INFORM OF MY LOCATION ?
In an emergency call 000 for Police,  Fire or Ambulance

Know where you are and accurately informing the ECO or the Statutory Emergency Services such as Police, Fire + Rescue or Ambulance when you call '000" in the event of an Emergency.

We recommend that having the working knowledge and use of this technology and the GPS precise location will allow the services to get to you or your faster.

Activate your trained site Emergency Control Organisation who have the current  awareness and ability to perform their duties and communicate; to best address the imminent or actual Emergency.

ACERTAIN THE TYPE/S OF EMERGENCY

Ascertain the type and factors of the Emergency from the informed communication and situational awareness of the trained ECO personnel to best manage and further control the incident.

UNDERSTAND THE LAYOUT, EVAC POINTS AND WHERE TO FIND THE FIRST ATTACK FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT

Have in place Current Evacuation Diagrams, Emergency Plans and how to locate the tools including the Passive and Installed systems in the building to assist with the Emergency.

Fire Extinguisher and Fire Blanket use

Following the standard procedures including R.A.C.E ( Remove/Rescue - Alert/Alarm - Contain/Confine - Extinguish/Evacuate ) obtain annual manual handling, selection and operation of Fire Blankets + Fire Extinguishers using the P.A.S.S ( Pull - Aim - Squeeze - Sweep) method.

A well trained Emergency Control Organisation will be empowered and only to happy to assist

Critical Factors to consider post incident to obtain all the facts, check in on the health, wellbeing and safety of personnel and restore workplace to a functional condition is to ensure a post-incident debriefing.  These learnings will also feed into the Emergency Planning Committee review and revision of the Emergency Plan for the organisation / site.
